Starting Monsters

The following monster Main breeds do not have to be unlocked:

Antlan, Arrowhead, Ducken, Golem, Lesione, Mew, Mocchi, Mogi, Momo, Naga, Octopee, Pixie, Psiroller, Suezo, Tiger and Zuum.

Shrine: Unlocking Additional Tablet Letters

At the beginning of the game you will only be able to use 4 letter words at the Shrine. Unlock more letters, up to 8, by competing in Official Tournaments. These are tournaments that raise your Monster's Rank rather than the other tournaments in between that give money and prizes.

Raising your Breeder Rank

As you progress, your Breeder Rank will be increased. These must be done through Official Tournaments, in addition to other hidden "Final Four" and Emperor Cup tournaments.

Unlock Dragon

Your monster must be A Class.
On April Week 3 you will receive an invitation to a special tournament.
On May Week 3, Fight a 1 v 1 tournament against a Dragon.
Win, and Dragons will be unlocked, and you will get a password to generate a Dragon.

Unlock Durahan

Your monster must be A Class.
On November Week 2 you will receive an invitation to a special tournament.
On December Week 2, Fight a 1 v 1 tournament against a Durahan.
Win, and Durahan will be unlocked, and you will get a password to generate a Durahan.

Unlock Joker

Your monster must be S Class.
On January Week 1 you will receive an invitation to a special tournament.
On February Week 1, Fight a 1 v 1 tournament against a Joker.
Win, and Joker will be unlocked, and you will get a password to generate a Joker.

Unlock Zan

Your monster must be S Class.
On July Week 3 you will receive an invitation to a special tournament.
On August Week 3, Fight a 1 v 1 tournament against a Zan.
Win, and Zan will be unlocked, and you will get a password to generate a Zan.
