Monster Rancher (2) PAL CD list
for Playstation version (1999)

PAL region covers most of Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, numerous islands in the Pacific Ocean).
This public archive is a filterable, searchable and sortable list of physical PAL region discs that are accessible to PAL players. Credits to the folks contributing to and managing the PAL Google Sheet!

PAL Version Only! Do Not Use for NTSC or MR2DX Versions!
Using Make-A-Monster you can still create all rares & regular monster variants without the below CDs, exactly as the game would produce them.
(Be sure to choose "PAL" from the version dropdown to generate PAL compatible files with Make-A-Monster.)
Details about PAL version

NTSC/US version is known as Monster Rancher 2, but was released only as "Monster Rancher" in PAL regions because these region did not get the first title (Monster Rancher "1") released in 1997..
The PAL version of the game had a different set of hard-coded regionalized disks to create monsters that differs from the NTSC/US/North America version of the game.

NOTE: You may obtain different monsters produced by the same listed album or game due to different releases of albums, different pressings, publishers (BGM, Columbia House, etc.), singles, box sets, Greatest Hits, Explicit Lyrics vs Clean versions, etc. If identifiers were provided they will be notated.

TO CONTRIBUTE: If you are a PAL player and have data you would like to submit confirmed monsters or suggestions that might lead to the discovery of the correct disk, please post on the Monster Rancher subreddit where other PAL players can validate. A PAL region editor will add the entry to this list.

  1. Search/Filter by anything; Species, Main, Sub, Title/Artist etc.
  2. Click on a table's column header to sort the data by that column.
  3. You can also column sort filtered results!
