Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher Adventure Maps

Ultra Valley consists of 3 separate adventures in February, June, and October. With a qualifying monster, you will be invited to join the adventure where you can traverse the maze-like map and search for items. Adventures are required for certain monster unlocks and can also be a decent source of money that can be stockpiled by storing high value items in your "G" inventory tab, ready to sell when it is convenient.

Adventure Basics

 

The First Adventure invite/unlock will occur: Finding Items
  • Unlike previous games, INT is no longer a requirement for finding items!
  • Some items cannot be found until you've accomplished certain tasks. (Disc Chips of Kaiju that haven't been unlocked yet, will be absent from the loot tables)
Successful Adventures
  • Super Success: Find 10+ Items
  • Success: Find 1-9 Items
  • Failure: Find 0 Items or run out of Energy
Energy = LIF stat/10 (3000 LIF = 300 Energy).
  • You MUST have enough energy to return to the Starting Point or risk losing found items.
  •   Searching a Location Search costs 20 energy per search
  •   Hazards drain energy unless you're using a Kaiju that can remove them.
    • Remove February hazards with: Birdon, Eleking, Red King, Skull Gomora, Telesdon, Tyrant
    • Remove June hazards with: Gandar, King Joe, Reicubas, Tyrant
    • Remove October hazards with: Eleking, Neronga, Thunder Killer, Tyrant
Hidden Paths, Obstacles, Hazards
  •   Hidden Paths can be opened up with 5000+ INT and are permanently available for all future monsters once discovered.
  •   POW obstacles reappear each Adventure, for each monster.
  •   Hazards can be removed by some Kaiju (See Maps), for other's they will drain between 10-20 Energy each tile.
Teleports
  •   Teleport tiles transport you to different locations on the map without using additional energy.
  • Some are bi-directional, some have specific exit points, but if there is more than 1 exit point, then this is chosen randomly when using the Teleport.
Random Events: Chance to occur on the gray ? tiles.
Upon entering the Adventure, 5 random tiles on the map are chosen to be active, and assigned one of the following events:
  1. Pick up something and eat it: +15 or -15 Energy
  2. Dig up a random item on the spot. This Can be ANY Non-Unique item that exists from any location in the specific Adventure's Loot Table.
    Example: Can't be Capsules, King Joe parts, etc. but CAN be Gold Peach, Baltan Statues etc.
  3. Run away to another location on the map. (The target location will be one of the inactive "Random Tiles").
  4. Stray Monster Encounters: (See each Adventure's Section "Stray Kaiju Encounter" for rewards)
    • 33% chance each to fight a Kaiju 1 class below, 1 class above, or your own class.
    • Energy Costs: Run Away: 0 Energy, Win: 10 Energy, Lose: 20 Energy.
Obstacle Removal Chances: Applies to POW obstacles. More POW provides a greater chance to remove an obstacle on the first try.
