Baby Baseline Stat Orders
Use this to find Partial matching Stat Orders for an already raised parent.
The calculator only matches to babies for all 6 stats in a same Stat Order, so sub-optimal combinations aren't shown. This allows you to find babies for sub-optimal (Less than 6) Stat Order matching.
  1. Type a desired partial Stat Order, such as: LIF POW DEF
  2. Include a space between each Stat.
  3. The list will be filtered to show any baby stat order that contains the searched parameters. Results may be at any position within the Stat Order.
  4. Anything that doesn't match is removed from view. The remaining table can be sorted as well.

Combining FAQs

It should be noted that regardless of any special variants of monsters used as parents (as in non-baseline Lifespans, Guts Regen, Stat Gain patterns etc.) the baby monster's core attributes will always use the baseline attributes of the resulting breed.

I have 2 raised parents...
Will they make a good Baby?
  1. Select the Main and Sub breed for both parents.
    • If there are multiple variants of a monster
and you don't know which version you used, you
will have to guess, or use Advanced Viewer to check.
    • Use the CD List for future monsters so you know
      exactly which version you picked.
  2. Enter in the raised stats for both parents.
  3. In the Combination percentages section, Click through each result.
Without planning ahead, you may not have any good results.
I have 1 raised parent...
What should I combine it with?
  1. Enter the "Already raised Parent 1" stats for Monster 1.
  2. Click "Suggest Baby" button.
  3. Click "Use as target" for a matching baby from the list.
    • If there is nothing in this list after clicking
Your stat order isn't compatible with another Baby & Parent
  4. On the Target Result, click "Suggest Parents"
  5. Check the box to "Keep Parent 1"
  6. Choose a parent combination from the list
  7. Click "Optimize Parent 2". (Use "Scale Down Parent 2" if needed)
  8. Raise Parent 2 with the indicated stats after Optimizing/Scaling.
    • BE SURE you shrine the exact version as indicated by the calculator!
There may be multiple variants with different gains which won't work.
    • Refer to the Song List
  9. Combine Parent 1 and Parent 2 and reset until you get the
Target Result you chose from steps 2 & 3.
I want to start from Scratch!
Get the best outcome by choosing the baby first.
  1. Choose ANY Main and Sub for the Target Result baby you want.
  2. Click "Suggest Parents" from the Target Result
  3. Choose the Parent Combination you want
(low chance = higher bonus but harder to get)
  4. Click "Optimize Parents for Target" button
  5. (Optional) Use "Scale Down Parent 1 (and/or 2)" buttons
  6. Raise Parent 1 and 2 with the indicated stats after Optimizing/Scaling.
    • BE SURE you shrine the exact versions as indicated by the calculator!
There may be multiple variants with different gains which won't work.
    • Refer to the Song List
  7. Combine Parent 1 and Parent 2 and reset until you get the
Target Result you chose from step 1.
How Tech Inheritance Works
Start with more than the basics!

There are 2 main ways to inherit techs:

  1. If the Target/Baby main breed matches Parent 1 main breed:
    • The Target/Baby will inherit a number of random techs equal to 2/3rds (rounded down) of/from Parent 1's learned techs - minus Specials and 2 starting basics.
      Example:
      • Parent 1 knows 12 techs. 2 were the default basic techs and 3 are Special Techs.
      • 12 - 3(Specials) - 2(Basic/Default) is 7.
      • 7x2/3 rounded down is 4
      • Baby inherits 4* techs. (See Extra Bonus Tech explanation)

  2. If the Target/Baby main breed does not match Parent 1 main breed:
    • The Target/Baby will inherit a tech, up to 1 of each tech type (1 heavy, 1 sharp, 1 hit, 1 wither etc.) belonging to the Baby main breed.
    • These will be the 1st priority tech from the errantry of the tech type learned.

Other considerations:

  • Parent 1 is the only monster considered when passing down techs.
  • The number of inherited techs are rolled for one at a time.
  • If a Tech is inherited, the number of times it was used is also inherited.
  • If a tech is not inherited, the number of uses reverts to 0.
  • If a later move in a Tech Chain is Inherited, the previous move will be attached. This is counted towards the number of inherited techs.
    • (This does not perpetuate; if you learn the 3rd tech in a chain it will inherit the 2nd automatically, but this does not trigger the 1st move being learned. It is possible to learn one additional tech during combining if the last tech acquired included an attached chained tech.)
  • Extra Bonus Tech? If the very last tech inherited is a later move in a Tech Chain, and the previous tech has not already been inherited, you will inherit the previous move of that chain as well, bumping you up to the "maximum amount of inheritable techs" Plus 1.
  • Inherited techs are randomized per each fusion attempt, so you can re-combine/save-scum to try for an optimal tech set.
  • You can inherit a learned/qualifying tech from a parent regardless of the Baby's starting stats or nature.
  • Cross-over techs cannot be inherited.
  • Special techs cannot be inherited.
Inheriting Battle Specials

When two monsters are combined in order to create a new one, the battle specials from both monster parents can be inherited.

The chance for inheritance is based off of whether both parents have it, the primary parent has it, or only the secondary parent has it.

The following table lists the percentage chance of inheritance for each battle special.
