I've recently played MRA2 again on the GBA
(actually, GBA Emulator on my PC) and I would like
some help regarding my unlocking of the Phoenix
(and of Doodle as well if anyone doesn't mind).

So.. I read up in the net that I needed five (5)
more orbs other than the FlareOrb that Canute gave
me, namely, GolemOrb, HareOrb, SuezoOrb, TigerOrb,
and MochiOrb. I DID get all orbs and waited for
the 1st week of January to come because I read up
that the orbs trigger up the power on that
particular week. But when the 1st week of January
came, nothing out of the ordinary came. So I
thought to myself that I'd wait another year
(still with the same monster I had, I had a Tiger
that time because I got my TigerOrb last) but
nothing still. I dunno, am I missing something
here? Do I need to make all them monster (Golem,
Suezo, Hare, Tiger, Mochi) to above Rank S as
well? :S

Then onto the Emperor's Cup Part II. I read up as
well that I can enter the Emperor's Cup again but
I'll be fighting the Dragon monster now instead of
Canute's Phoenix. So.. I used my Tiger to finish
the 4 Pre-Required tournaments again (the very
same Tiger I used to get my TigerOrb). I waited
for a couple of weeks, but no invitation to the
Emperor's Cup. I thought of waiting and did do so,
but then, still no invitation. Am I missing
something here? I really wanna get to finish the
Emperor's Cup Part II.

Oh, and short question about Doodle, I don't know
which map/exploration site do I get to attain the
OddChalk (I forgot what it's exact name is, the
combining item, pardon me), can anybody tell me
please?

Update: I made my Mochi, Hare, Tiger, Suezo, and
Golem to reach above Class S but still nothing on
the Phoenix part, I think I really am missing
something :S

okay, it is possible that a monster cant trigger more than one special event, like an orb and emporors cup. try raising a new monster to rank S and maybe that will work.

I have proof, my Asura, Blaze, beat the emporers cup and had 7 monthe before he coudn't fight so i froze him pulled him out the week before the invite for the Winners cup and the invite didn't come.( Tried having him out the intire month, that didn't help.)
