I finally made it to the Emperor's cup and I fought the Phoenix. That phoenix is hard can anyone give me tips on what I should raise the most with my monster? How did you beat it if you don't mind me asking?

I used a suezo(accualy a cateye) to beat it and killed it in 2 hits, one was telepathy and one was P.K. so I can only imagine what would have happened if I had used Suezo beam. Anyways my suezo had around 800 int and in the 400's for everything else except for pow witch was 350. The reason pow is so low is that with a suezo you only need to train pow till you get to rank D or so when you can learn telepathy and P.K. then it is smooth sailing form there on, just make sure you keep life, defense, accuracy, and speed decent so the suezo can hit before he gets pummeled. If you need more tips just ask.

I beat him with a monster who had max int and max skill with high speed. He couldn't hit me at all and I only need a few small hits to win.

If you just want to beat it, and you're raising a first generation monster, focus on its Acc and Pow/Int, depending on its own statistical strengths. You should have an easier time getting a future monster to a similar level once you're able to hire/raise better coaches and get useful ranch items like incense and cups, especially if you've started only recently.

I've been playing for years now. I have a combined monster who has 700 in Pow and 900 in Spd. Do you think it's good enough?

Your Skill needs to be high enough to actually hit the phoenix.

What is its Acc at present?

Beat it with a 999 Power and Acc. Enma in one hit.
