Ok, I just went on an expedition with my pure Henger, that I got from combining 2 pure antlans with the mech as the combining item.This Henger was perfectly normal, with 100 Reliance. He's 3 years, 7 months old, although I just got the impending retirement warning yesterday. His stats are 500-750, with intelligence being 700, and life being 563. He has all of his moves, and is in Master rank.

I went to the Promias ruins on the 2nd week of March, in my 45th year. My Henger was perfectly rested, and had no stress.

On my trip, I went to P, the hotsprings, and either 6 or 7 (on the map of promiass ruins). I met Shunien and Balte, and I won both, although I don't think I KO'd them. It might have just been in the red zone. There was nothing that struck me as different between this and other times, but apparently something was different.

Ok, Update:
I got two more soulmates with my Henger. I also got a soulmate level with Hoffman, with a joker (created using combining item, Master class, high intelligence). I KO'd him within 6 seconds, but I didn't save the game for him.

And stupidly, I combined both of them to give me a Monol, who is now in C class. I haven't gotten any soulmates for him, yet. Just best friends.
