Great work here, thanks! By Mas13 on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 - 02:48 pm: i'm a little confused, what is a pre-set password, are they different from regular passwords? By John Hawley on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 - 04:10 pm: They are the way the game delivers Rares, or as they are known here, Specials. By marhawkman on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 - 05:48 pm: Not quite correct Mr Hawley. Pre-Set passwords are the Passwords you get from in-game events. Apparently, in order to be able to provide a certain monster with an exact set of stats, they pre-programmed certain passwords into the game. When those passwords are entered it doesn't generate a monster from them, it looks it up in the table of pre-set passwords. By CHB on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 - 04:03 pm:
Excellent work, marhawkman. By marhawkman on Thursday, March 18, 2004 - 06:20 am: New discovery!! Pre-set passwords DON'T have to be entered exactly to work!!!! If you add letters to the beginning or the end of the password, it will work the same. By Mas13 on Thursday, March 18, 2004 - 02:23 pm: I'm still a bit confused, but i understand it more now, thanks. ...Are you saying you could have an ultra-powered Eared mew by mutating the base password?
