Deadbuffalo's Divinations

Its been too long since we had one of these, so I'm more than happy to see the (best of the) same old monsters fight it out. Interestingly enough, 3 of them have fought it out already in Fenrick's Master Class round 2.

I'll go over who i think its safe to say won't win first. Red Ranjr is a relic of a MR3 monster without maxed life, defense, or intelligence. He's outclassed in this tournament, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls one or two victories. Halo is also antiquated, but fortunately for Shadowfussion he has another entry in this tournament. I'm also going to eliminate Freddy B as a possible winner 'cause while he can pummel his way to a victory every now and then, it was shown in Round 2 that Freddy usually ends up plucked by the end of the battle.

That leaves Flo, Spinach, and Patsy. Flo and Spinach had a tiebreaker match during Round 2, and even if Flo won, i'm not convinced Flo can pull off another victory over Spinach.
Patsy, while vastly inferior to Lisaione (my lesione), still can somehow manage to win. Don't ask me how, i know Patsy sucks, but she somehow won in the Lesione Cup. Call it Luvullo Luck. Lesiohorne will be a lot more effective against Spinach than Flo though, but otherwise I'm reluctant to say how Patsy will perform besides that Lisaione would do far better.

Overall, I see Flo winning in another tiebreaker vs. Spinach, Patsy in third, and Freddy, Halo, and Red Ranjr fighting for the leftover positions.

Looks like there can be some good fights, I'll see you on Sunday.

I knid of see it the way you do, DB. For such a prestigious group, the groupings are pretty clear-cut, at least to me...

Name Trainer Challenge WonOdds
SpinachTigerBubbleHenger2-1
FloThe DMew5-2
PatsyToreyLuvulloLesione4-1
FreddyBToreyLuvulloRaiden5-1
HaloTigerBubblePixie6-1
RedRanjrMonsterFenrickZan50-1

As you can see, the top group is Spinach and Flo. I prefer Spinach by a narrow margin - i think his techs are better, and he will land more of his blows, enough to offset the guts regen edge of the kittycat. needless to say, i will not keel over in shock if the two are reversed in the final tally.

The middle group is Patsy, FreddyB and Halo. Patsy has the best chance of surprising her way into the top group - she does well against my top monsters, and with a little luck, her techs can hit hard. FreddyB. is rock solid, but not overall strong enough to really threaten the top group. Halo will get an unexpected win, but in a group of 6, that is not going to get her far enough.

RedRanjr stands alone at the bottom of the pack. He will always be one of my favorite monsters, but he cannot hang with this group. I will be surprised if he even gets one win.

Sunday night - a welcome sight! The return of the tourney - and what a tourney it will be!

btw, between this tournament and the two brackets of fenrick's masters class, i believe you find the greatest mr3 monster. I find it hard to imagine that a more concentrated group of champions will battle within the next year...

basically, this is for all the marbles.
