Time flies when you are working constantly. This weekend has turned into Monday morning, and I am just now getting the morning line together. Without further ado...

This is a very balanced field, and I find myself quite hesitant to voice any real strong opinions. Specifically, I could have inverted the top 3 entirely, and felt just as confident; the bottom 3 have weaknesses of increasing proportions which allow me to justify downgrading them, but each one is capable of springing an upset and proving me wrong.

Lisa's Zilla looks the stronger of the two whaley monsters. Car Lie Al is an extremely well-constructed Zilla, and i think the walking whale is the right breed for this tourney. Conan has an int attack but only 80 int, and worse yet, has only 655 skill. Car Lie Al's main competition is from the two Bakus, who are virtually even. I guess i just like Kung Pao's gust breath better than HCl Acid's nap in long range. I have never seen a recovery tech really help in tourney's...but maybe this is the one where it will happen!

I remember when this tourney was first anounced, everyone assumed there would be a ton of durahans entered...well, Steel Blade is the only knight here. He is the best of the bottom crew - 813 lif and being a durahan are the minor smudges on his blotter. I've already discussed Conan. Evil Eye is a naga - and I love nagas, but in a tourney like this, 763 lif + 400 def = feeling some pain when hit.
