Although the outcome was expected, it was still cool to see these birds in action!

Freddy B vs. Ryukyu: In the first two rounds, Freddy used a combination of spin knuckles, eagle rushes, and smash fists to inflict some HEAVY damage on Ryukyu. However, in round three, Ryu struck back with a very nice phoenix combo, getting B to only half health! In round four, Freddy struck back with multiple strong attacks.....while NEVER getting hit himself! Needless to say, Ryu was toast.

Freddy B vs. Wordplay: Not much to say here. WP could hardly ever get an attack across and when he did it was weak...meanwhile Freddy got KOs in two out of the three matches...winning the fight.

Ryukyu vs. Wordplay: This was tonight's final fight, and also most exciting. Rounds one and two consisted of Ryu pounding on WP and getting two wide margin wins. In round three however, WP dodged and blocked his way into an 80% advantage over Ryu. Next, WP did it yet again, successfully evading and blocking FIVE of Ryu's techniques. In round five, there wasn't much dodging or blocking...WP and Ryu both pounded on eachother with strong attacks. When the dust settled, it was Ryu who had the most health and snagged the 2nd place.

I must say, I already like Raidens...maybe I'll train one if I ever get a ps2. Until next tournament, so long!
