I think Freddy B. is good enough to win. I will be watching the matchup between * and Ryukyu closely, however. We have not had such a clear int/pow dichotomy within a breed in any mayor's cup yet.

First, *'s techs are more advanced, and may just be better techs. Furthermore, * has fast footwork - this often proves very helpful. Finally, * has chosen pow as his "neglected stat"; Ryukyu has chosen int.

So * has certain advantages that may help. Whether the accumulation of these slight advantages will overcome Ryukyu's edge in composite stats [and that 750 lif of *] is an intriguing question. If I had to guess, I would guess "yes" and choose * by a 3-2 margin.

RyuKyu techs are medium and Short Range.

both monsters have about = Hit %, but RyuKyu has higher Damage per attack. at first hand i'd say Ryukyu will beat * (since * only has 750 LIF)... but RyuKyu lacks in the DEF area... so it is almost an even playing feild.

Then comes *'s wonderful charactaristics list... I personally don't think it will be enough though. with *'s low Life, and lower damage per attack.. past tournaments have shown a trend of lower damage attacks just not quite being enough. Hopefully, for me, this proves true again.

Regardless... if * VS Ryukyu does not go into a 5th round for the win, i'll be dissappointed.
