We hope everyone can attend! This particular chat is pretty good and responsive, the downside is that some people with older systems may have troubles with it. It's the only workable chat that could handle such a large crowd for us. It does require you to register with Delphi 24 hours prior to entering.

After several tournaments where there were one or two monsters which clearly towered over the others, we have the opposite here. Some might differ, but I see no clear-cut favorite among this bunch. Of course, that has never stopped me from setting a morning line...

As you can see, what I've done is to place the maxxed monsters first, and the unmaxxed ones next. As between the maxxed monsters, I think it's about time that Hengersrock and a dragon win one of these tourneys, so my choice is Omega. The dragon's better tech selection should ultimately outweigh the pixie's big advantage in guts regen. One thing, though - unlike most pixies, monsters cannot rest easy when Furea moves into close range...she can kick the hell out of you if you aren't careful. True, she didn't impress in the suspended dp tourney, but the competition here is ratcheted down significantly.

As between the unmaxxed monsters, I prefer Dorothy. Again, I look for the golem tech list to outweigh the plant's guts regen advantage. Although Generic has maxxed pow, i still am not as impressed with his front row of techs as with the pixie's...except for life steal, of course [and, for some reason, the flyplant does not even have maxxed int...]

Bottom line...this is a match in which upsets can, and will, happen. Should be some fun competition on Tuesday!
