As posted by Gameshark, the Sharkport PS2 CD does not work with PS2s with the Date code of "1C".
DigMoshMogi reported that it also doesn't work with the PS2 date code of "1D" (his is pretty new).
--Thanks Dig for finding this Out!--

Hopefully Gameshark/Interact is releasing or will release updated CDs with their product, and make available free updated PS2 CDs for people that need it.

Also, anyone know a Toll Free # to call GameShark or InterAct for tech support? or is it all "pay Only" support?

By John Hawley on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 - 09:54 am:

It appears to be all 'pay only' except for the e-mail support.

To find the date code look at the label on the back of your PS2 right above the expansion port. The date code is on the bottom left of the label.

What do you mean by 1C disk?

By Monster Fenrick on Friday, January 11, 2002 - 10:37 am:

the 1X Disk meaning the SharkPort CD update Disk for the Different Models of PS2s released.
Lisa and I have 1As, Torey has 1C, and DMM has model 1D the latest and greatest.
