Just a warning for people:
The Version 2 Dexplorer software I downloaded from Interact, though more functional, is glitchy from my experiences.

On several occasions people have sent me their game saves. I get the GME, and it Does show a file there, but it will not transfer to the memory card. I went back to the Version 1 Software and the transferred over just fine.

I don't know if this is a Version Compatibility, or just a bug, since it *would* work if that same person sent me the Same file using their same version of software the second time around.

The DexDrive was manufactured in 1997 only. The original price was $49.99. It uses a PC serial port, so make sure that your computer has such a port on it before buying a Dex.

Units show up on ebay.com, make sure that you are bidding on the PSX version, not the N64 one, and that the unit is new and un-used. Several MRM regulars have had their DexDrives break in less than a year's use, so we cannot recommend buying used units. (We do recommend buying 2 units if you can find them.)

There is freeware online, called Dexter, which appears to run the dex better than the manufacturer's software.
