On September 4, 2009, to honor the tenth anniversary of the release of Monster Rancher 2, we will be hosting the MRM Anniversary MR2 Challenge. This event will be a free-for-all, open to monsters of any age, rank, and stat composite.

Here are the detailed guidelines:

1) Monsters be any age.

2) Monsters may be from CDs, Market, or combination.

3) No Metalners or any breed with Metalner as the main type.

4) Techs are up to you.

5) Limit 3 entries per person.

6) Sorry, we cannot accept PAL entries.


Guidelines for Submission:

1) Entrants must follow all general tourney rules outlined in the main Coliseum Guidelines for Entrants. No one under 13 allowed to submit, no cheat devices except for cash and DNA capsules, no wagering.

2) When you have your monster ready, email me at monster.rancher.metropolis(at)gmail.com requesting a save slot. I will reply and assign you a save slot. You will then need to make a save on that slot with your monster in the freezer and email the Dex Drive save to me, or snail-mail me your memory card. (I will return the card!)

3) The tourney will be held in the MRM chatroom, Master Rancher's Lodge #47, at a time to be announced later. We will also try to post some of the rounds on youtube.

4) Any questions about this event should be posted in the Locker Room thread about the Anniversary Challenge.

5) The format is the grid, where every monster will fight every other monster. Each contest is for 3 out of 5. In the case of a tie, Surprise! will be used as the tie-breaker.
