Who's gonna take the win? Who's gonna turn this match upside down.....?

Oh sweet.
I hope this one is as good as the last tourney we had.
By Red Hare on Monday, September 15, 2003 - 05:26 am:
It will sure be.

I really don't see how this can compare to the last. Hard to come across one of that calibur. If Exzee had all stats except int maxxed, he could probably take this tourney...And Miso has those horrible zuum techs...
Eh, I say guts factor will screw over them all, go Kabal.
By CHB on Monday, September 15, 2003 - 09:42 am:
Yeah I do have that feeling the dragon will eat Rimowa alive, but we'll see.

I have to agree with SSJ about this tournament. The monsters are pretty good, but last time they were all trained to their fullest potential. lso, this one is easier to call IMO...I really think it is between the two AH subs.

just wait to see how bad the next A class bracket is...
But i must say, the Kabal get my thumbs up also. good dragon RH

S CLASS #3 BRACKET #1
I usually try to stay fairly mainstream in my morning lines. I usually try to find something good to say about every monster, and make my best case for how a close match will develop. But I can't do that this time. Might as well put my whole foot in my mouth as my toe...
MISO GETS TO WIN!!!
let's go thru the rigmarole...
Monster
Breed
Trainer
Odds
Miso
Crab Saurian
Kimochi
1-5
Kabal
Crab Dragon
RedHare
8-1
Exzee
Emerald Eye
GoGators
8-1
Rimowa
CHB
Noble Jell
8-1
Miso pleads guilty to the charge of being a zuum. However, he is the only monster to effectively hide the inherent weakness of S class point deficit here. The others all have mismatched techs, or low speed, or both.
At this point i should try to say something nice about Kabal. I like dragons. It would behoove me to say something nice about Exzee as well. I like the screenshot. Finally, a word about Rimowa. Word.
MISO GETS TO WIN!!!

I completely agree with that. I don't know why people liked Kabal so much. His guts regen is horrible and his techs are expensive. He has awfull SPD and being Skinny only serves to reduce his DEF. Miso will probably win by time, unless Kabal get lucky and hit with one POwerful technique. And when I say powerfull I don't mean exactly POW techs. Some INT techs are good for withering. This bracket is so funny I won't be surprised if Kabal actually wins, but I wont be surprised if he ends as last one either.

I'm surprisingly uninterested in this, but, hey, why not make a bold prediction?
Exzee will impale himself on a spoon.
Miso will convert to the Church of Mormon.
Kabal will forget to set his alarm clock.
Rimowa wins by default!

Not on a spoon,a fork! I see Kabal winning this bracket isn't revolving around speed. It's mainly a tech match.

I've not had a lot of luck in this 'guessing' thing, but I'm going to give this one a try again, just for the fun of it.
First: Kabal. The dragon's big disadvantage is going to come in its guts regen rate. Those attacks _are_ expensive, and they won't be thrown too often. However, he's got the advantage of being one of the hardest hitters up close. If the dragon can take this battle into first range, then he's got a BIG advantage against the Royal Jell.
And speaking of which: Rimowa's going to have some work to do, keeping himself _out_ of that critical first range. The Royal Jell's not got anything at that level that'll do anything more than sting. If he stays at a distance, or throws fast, though, that Jell Copter is going to come into play and prove its worthiness. It's a strong tech, and he may get to prove just _how_ strong. I don't pick him as a winner, but a strong second.
Exzee's a proud little Hopper. He's got some real firepower in that first row. Unfortunately, his mix of lower defense stats could well be a big hinderence. I see him possibly doing really well against the Jell, and slapping around the dragon some, but ultimately it's going to be his downfall. Still! A worthy member of the hopper race! My hats off to GoGators on this monster.
This leaves Miso, our Crab Saurian. Zuum moves have one big advantage: they have hard-hitting techs in all ranges, rather than just one range. While this gives them a big disadvantage in the market tourneys (since it means you have to go through a lot of weak to get to the good), it should give this fellow the edge on a lot of his competition. Add in his balanced stats and the only big problem that he will have is the sluggish guts regen that an arrowhead can bring. I still think that he's a strong contender for #1, though.
I'm with most folks. The big cup will bne taken by one of the two crab subs. I'm plucking for Kabal, myself, but it's really anyone's game.

I like how I have the most defense :P Rimowa being the only none skinny monster in bracket, though I don't know how much this will come into play.
