It's not too bad of an idea to revamp and re-release MR2... I'd like to see that sometime. I know SE does it with the older FF games, they completely upgraded the graphics in the older ones and touched up the translations,etc as well. I would like to see that.

Of course graphics and letting people rebuy it are the key points (and not having a scratched up disc that doesn't read half the time)... But they could probably touch up some elements too. Like adding more variation, maybe more monsters(different CDs, and new /??? monsters) and just simply more ways to progress in the game(another side event or adventure, perhaps) into the game.

Does anyone here think they would buy a re-released version? I'd buy that simply to see up-to-date graphics/music myself. My pixie horde would be so pretty!

That's true. I do miss the old function in MR1->MR2 where you could upload your old save file...

If they remade it, it'd be good to have that function, since some people might not want to start over. But I think it'd still be cool without.

I would also like to see some of the old monsters from MR1 In it aswell.

I would definately buy it, if it was released in England of course. They should do it with the amazing graphics engine of the PS3, they would be some seriously high def monsters.

I'm tellin' ya, MR1&2 in one game. Zilla/Doodle is where it'd be at. That'd be so friggin' awesome. It'd definitely need more combinations, though. They didn't make any new ones for the basic monsters of #1 in #2 except for Pixie and Golem.

It has so much potential.
