The console already Hosts games Via Console and bases most non server games, By the 1person system to all others who are playing. Since its always 1 on 1 game. It Shouldn't be all that hard to make The Psx games Xbox classics.

More or less Monster rancher one and Monster rancher 2. I know its a long shot As the MR series is doing Much worse than the Digimon series by far. But This would considerably be a dream come true if only For the fan base. So we can play against each other online.

Not to mention always chance for Temco to release a patch or two for Special tournament dates and special mosnters.

This is probly one of the more realistic and simplest ideas also put up here... Sorry

But couldn't that be a Sinch for Tecmo considering they got DoA 4 online smoothly and such? hech if they wanted to they could Fit all the old Monster rancher games for the PSX and GBA on to once Disk and call it "MR collection" or such like all the other Companies are doing wit there games. Megaman, Sonic, Zelda, etc.

Sony is already doing it, they have re released about 10 PSX games and 1 PS2 game on the playstation network.

Yeah, the only thing is, the MR games aren't written using the PSX OS, they are hard-coded in machine code. All the ports I have seen so far have been games using the PSX OS to run.

Oh my those tournaments would be awesome. Monster Rancher on the Xbox has so much potential. I think if Microsoft took care of it, it could go so much further because they'd stop moving toward that more and more childish approach that they've gotten. Microsoft could take it back to MR1 and 2 days, and even incorporate newer monsters to fit the gaming better. Some of them would have been awesome if they hadn't been so watered down.
