Seems, as if it more or less got the same score Monster Farm 4 received 2 years ago. Just thought you might be interested.

# Monster Farm 5: Circus Caravan (Tecmo): 7, 8, 7, 7 - (29/40)

He's right.

I knew it was going to be awful.

By Petit-Trot on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 06:28 am:

7,8,7,7 is awful? I'm pretty sure all the MR games have had similar scores.

By Lisa Shock on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 09:40 am:

Those scores, while not fabulous, are definitely decent.

By RPGProgrammer on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 11:09 am:

I believe this should reassure us that MF5 will not sray too far from the formula.

By RPGProgrammer on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 11:09 am:

Rather, stray.

MR4 did get nearly identical scores.

By Apocalypse on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 03:21 pm:

I think this is a very good thing. MR4 was a very good game and if MR5 is just as good, that is good enough for me.

By Heat on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 05:03 pm:

The thing about MR4 was that it was hideous. If MR5 is just as good, then it's not going to be very good.

Seems we're never going to get another decent MR game. Pity.

By RPGProgrammer on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 05:30 pm:

I cannot say I agree with you.

By VenomousX on Sunday, December 4, 2005 - 09:09 pm:

I didnt think MR4 was all that bad, of course it couldve been better, but dont think it deserves a word as harsh as "hideous"

As hardcore MR fan (like most people here) I dont care what future MR games are "rated" I'm going to buy them all ^^

By Apocalypse on Monday, December 5, 2005 - 11:38 am:

I thought they took a turn for the better in MR4 with the ability
to raise more than 1 monster at a time. The dungeons may have
gotten a bit redundant after the 6 millionth time you had to go
to one, but that can be improved as they continue making new
games. If MR5 adds new features while fixing some of the
problems of MR4 I am sure it will be a success.
