I liked how in monster rancher 4 you could actually move around with a character. This might change the genre of the game a little, but what if your character was able to fight in Expeditions? like, if you have nothing else to protect you, the main character goes in with a stick, and tries to protect his/her monster? or if your monster tries to escape from the ranch or disobeys, you can take them down? it sounds dumb, but hey, im a noob.

It would make it more like the show, in my oppinion. Which to me would be good. Personaly, I'd like one where, instead of having stay on a ranch like most people raising monsters, you could have the choice to journey around like in the cartoon.

Hey, I made a suggestion similar to your idea. As the rancher traveled with his(or her) monsters during the week you train. Then on the weekend you travel to level up the monsters in experience to gain new attacks, also upgrade attacks(similar to MR2), and learn new traits. When at towns you could buy training gadgets, do tournaments, and find/complete side-quest/minigames. On my opinion, I think some monsters need some their attacks they had previously like zuum(one of my favorites) to have better fire attacks or at least make the dino to be an all-round monster or a new raptor. And suezo(another I like) I think, on my opinion would be better with the chow down/chew skill once again or at least make the attack EAT(MR4) be a powerful attack and guts depleter. And boss battles would be in caves, jungles, sky, even basements or palaces or sewers(just like MR4) facing HUGE monsters or super-powered and once you defeat them you obtain a combo item to create the monster ex: dragon, gali, tiger, zuum, but not anything like Moo or the Phoenix.
