I know that sometimes, races come and go from the MR world.
Still, I wanted to petition those who read this to not get rid of Antlans.
Since my MR1 days, I have never quite connected with a monster like I do with Antlans. I raised Golems for a while, but they never really worked. I copied a friend's Pixie training regimen, but it never felt like mine.
Enter the Antlan. When I got MR4, I popped a disc in and was treated to a pure Antlan. Something struck me right then, and I combined my Antlan with the starter Garu, producing one that I lovingly referred to as Gundora.
I trained this monster for (in-game) years, and when it finally passed, I actually cried. Cried! I've not shed a tear at many an RPG, but this little guy, unable to control himself anymore and collapsing, made me cry.
Ever since, I have raised Antlans. My "Mighty Morphin Antlan Rangers" team, an Eval, each of the rare color Antlans, and a Quintie, is still the deadliest team my friends have ever seen.
Um, MR4 monsters don't collapse at all, they retire.

The very first monster you raise, you are treated to them "collapsing" because they cannot control their body anymore. After that one, they do not show the sight.
Replay the game long enough to see it. For me, it was heartbreaking.
When my Ripper retired, he went through a collapsing scene. He was then force retired and frozen. None of my other ones have, however, mainly because I don't let them get that far.
