Per request: here is the Picture Guided Walkthrough for using X-Port / Sharkport.

Any suggestions on Key problem areas I may have skipped or taken for granted, please post them so I can fix it.
I hope it is helpful for those New to X-port/Sharkport.. or those that don't use it too frequently.. and especially to those who are currently having problems using the software.

That's awesome, Fen. There's just one thing I want to point which was a another problem that I had with the 'Port before I managed to fix it.

If you still get the "USB error", there's a chance that you might not have the actual drivers and what not for the Sharkport/X-Port even when you installed the Sharkport. I had this problem when I tried to use Fen's encyclopedia around August 2002, and recently tried to send my Easter fighter a week or two ago. Just install them, and This link should help you out with installing the proper stuff for the 'ports, but try to copy down the info incase this link ceases to exist:

Thanks!
I've added that information into the instructions for installing the drivers manually.

Question: Those with no TV attatched to their PS2 while using Sharkport, what is your average wait time for the "Awaiting Command" screen to populate?

several clocks have resulted in anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute of waiting for me (this is starting timer from completely turned off PS2 to the Awaiting Command screen.)

on the Directions I jsut listed a Minute to wait for those that are not using a TV while transferring data.

It looks ok, I will refer to it the next time I fire up the system, and see if I recall any more tips.
