in my excitment, I forgot to ask. what CD did it come off of? do u think u could post that, UPC code, all the good stuff?
By Lisa Shock on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 03:49 pm:
It's Beck, Mellow Gold. Same UPC as makes the Mum Mew, nothing special about it. He says he bought it in the days of MR1 while hunting a Magnet.

Don't feel bad, my buddy bought 3 copies of mellow gold to get the magnet henger, none worked. I bought 1 copy, got the henger. Then he had to hate me even more when he found out that it also had Moo.

It's about time we found the right disk. I've been trying ever copy I could get my hands on, at least 10 and none have worked. All hail Darthgali!!

For those wanting codes for MR3, note that this code produces a Rare Dragon. Three games, three Rares. Somebody 's gonna get their moneys worth outta this.

Somewhere, Beck is wondering why only his Mellow Gold album sold well even long after it came out. :P

At last somebody's found it. I've read that WHTJuniour has been working on creating MOO but I guess he can stop now that the info is here. BTW does this code work for the PAL version as well?
Grrr....I stop playing the game for a couple months, come back here, and find someone went and did something I worked all summer and couldn't produce (and never would have, given where I was looking) It seems my copy of the disc was off by 1 second on 4 of the tracks (entries 7, 10, 13 and 14), and the MR2 shrine looks at at least one of those (probably the last one) when calculating rares. My disc was also off by 25 frames on the total length, but that doesn't affect the rare if the tracks are off too (I burned 2 CDRs, one with just the Pframe2 adjustment, and the other with the tracks adjusted and original frames at 60, and the one with the track mods works) So I had the Beck: Mellow Gold with a rare in MR1, but not MR2. There's far too many variations in pressings of music CD's. I think I'm officially retired from trying to muck around with those things anymore. Besides, my brother left the state with his PS, and my new PS2 won't even read the CDRs I made, and certainly not CDRWs (good think I kept my old PS so I can still play MR1 and MR2).
Happy ranching Enygma #6. I am not the original, nor do I pretend to be. I am just me, that is all I need to aspire to be.
