I am cobbling together an FAQ for this section, mostly to help with answering basic beginner questions. (Three times already, in chat, people had to be told that they needed a CD burner to put monsters onto CDs, that they couldn't alter an existing CD with a standard drive...)
If you think of any popular questions I didn't cover, tell me here and I will add them to the FAQ. (credited, of course)
I don't intend it to be a step-by-step guide to using CloneCD, if Fenricks needs improvement, we will work on that separately.

Don't forget the classic "Can I make [or find] a CD that will give me a monster with [a 3000 composite/all 999 stats/etc.]?"
And here's one you might consider: "Is CloneCD free/freeware? Can I use it forever without having to pay?" (As I discovered, at least with version 3, it refused to write discs after the 21-day trial until I registered, although it would still read CDs and erase CD-RWs.)
I don't know if anything is needed like "Can the same CD make different types of monsters at different times?" or "What is a subcode?" or "What is a UPC?" or "You say this album makes this monster, but mine makes a different monster" (the multiple pressings issue). These aren't as Lab-specific, but if you're getting questions about altering existing CDs with standard drives... «shrug»

I think that "What is a subcode?" should be added, then refer them to the CloneCD thread for more info. (Good Idea, Quincunx!)

Here's a question, and something *I've* even asked myself asking in the chat:
what software could work with our CCD info?
Since I can't use my emulator with CloneCD, I need to use Adapetc Jam (or just Adaptec/Roxio Toast, if it's not too complex). I've asked about Nero, since I haven't used it much.
The reason: I can't use CloneCD not because of the emulator, but because both burners (which are major brands!!) are not supported (as well as documented as such in the CloneCD docs).
I can't think of anything else, other than possibly, "I've burnt xxx but it's yyy instead!" If they had to hand-burn it (like what I have to do), they may need to double-check the numbers they put in. They may also want to create a CCD (if they used CloneCD) to double-check the burnt CD, in case that model burner didn't burn the CD to the exact specifications. Or, failing either of those (and I've just done this), they may want to ask to have the given CCD confirmed (if it it's already done so).
