Okay, check this out. I wanted to make a Skeleton, so I Clone'd a CD back here (Incubus: When Incubus Attacks, Part 1, figured I'd make something to listen to while I was at it), then copied all the clone'd files over the household network to the comp with the burner, changed the info to that of the skeleton, and tried to burn it. Both were audio cds, and I got an error reading "Image data does not match."

Any ideas?

If you are doing what I think you're doing (If i'm wrong... and i'm never wrong *Princess Bride*) the you are using the Subcode data (image.ccd) file with the Skeleton Data on it, burning a CD that has Data (IMAGE.img) OTHER than the Skeleton Data (what ever alblum make a skeleton).

This Will result in an error since the physical data (IMAGE.img) is greater or less than the Subcode (image.ccd).
The CD will still burn properly if you select the first of the 2 options when you encounter this error.

The program is just checking with you since (if you do it like me) You only have a 1Mb (or even 1Kb) of information on the Disk, but the TOC suggests that you have "X" Tracks each one "X" minutes long.

Hm, that must be it. I'll go try burning it again and tell you how it comes out. Thanks!

Alright, well, I tried burning it again, and I didn't get any options, it just gave me the error and a nice little "ok" box. That's all.

Did it work though?

Unfortunately, no, registering it didn't work.. I'm thinking it's the 'last modified' time is different, so I'm going to try to reclone the cd and see what happens.

The Skeleton Data is bad, or so is my belief. After Mordreds persistant efforts to duplicate the Data I thought I had better give it a whirl myself. To my suprise the Data did Not produce anything at all, but instead just gave me a message that The CCD file did not match the Image file. the Only option it gave me was "OK" at which point it brought me back to the beginning of the CD Burning/Image copying process.

Abar, if you are reading this, will you RE-POST the Skeleton Data, better yet, wil you try to Burn Skeleton from the CCD file before posting (or from the one posted) so we can see if it was an accident or if our software is just not diggin' that file.

Thanks!
Fenrick

I've posted my version of the "Skeleton" sub-code. I'll test it later today to see if it reburns properly with different img and sub files.
