This is the report of my research involving 3 CD's:
Marilyn Manson-Mechanical Animals which contains a Skeleton(Henger/???) Guns N' Roses-Appetite for Destruction which also contains a Skeleton(Henger/???) Guns N' Roses-Appetite for Destruction which contains a Citronie(Kato/Suezo)
The test was made comparing the results of the three CD's in Monster Rancher 1, Monster Rancher 2 and Monster Rancher Battle Cards Episode II.
Unfortunately I don't own a CD Copier so I won't be able to compare the number of frames of each CD. Anyway some of you might be interested in it.
I will post in parts so I won't have to write it all at once.
I will also post it in other Monster Rancher related sites.
If I put my hands in a CD copier I will for sure add more information to this thread.
CD1: Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals>>>>>>>>>>
Conclusions: 1-The CD's are very different both in duration and number of tracks, anyway they have the same monster. 2-The Skeletons are NOT equal, CD1's stats are higher and it has an additional hit tech: arm cannon.
Roses X Roses>>>>>>>>>>
Conclusions: 1-The CD's have the same the same UPC's but CD2 was pressed in 1999 by Microservice Tecnologia Digital da Amazônia and CD3 in 1991 by Sonopress- Rimo da Amazônia Industrial e Comércio Fonográfica LTDA. 2-In Monster Rancher1 they have the same monster, with the same set of stats. 3-In Monster Rancher 2 they have VERY different monsters, and in MRCBEp.II they have different cards. 4-CD3 is 2seconds shorter than CD2, the difference comes from the last track(Rocket Queen)
Final Conclusions>>>>>>>>>>
1-MR and MR2 shrines probably take different things into consideration to generate monsters, because CD2 and CD3 have identical monsters in MR1 but different ones in MR2. 2-I believe I'm giving enough proof that two CD's with same UPC's are not necessarily with the same monster as everyone thought. 3-I did it in a hurry, if I forgot to mention anything please tell me. Any question, just ask.

You might want to try running them through the CloneCD software. Take a look in the General Q&A area of the Laboratory for a thread entitled "Where is CloneCD". -Or take a look at the only FAQ thread on how to use it. You don't need a burner (I don't have one) to get the data we have been publishing!

Thanks but I can't download because I use my work's computer. When I have time(probably in my Vacation in April) I'll fix that =b
