Monster Rancher Metropolis: The Laboratory: Technical Research On The Monster Rancher CD Read Process: General Q & A: Erm... I'm having a small problem with CloneCD... By Omnigamer on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 - 07:16 pm: Anyway, I seem to be having a similar problem. When CloneCD (version 2) attempts to write the image.ccd file back to the disk (blank CD-R, of course), it starts up, then stops immediatly after sub and main channel subcodes have reached 7%, yet no writing has actually been done on the disk. The CloneCD timer keeps going, but my burner stops attempting to burn or read further. There's no error message, and its done this every time I've tried. It's probably a problem with my hardware, but in case its otherwise, i figured i may as well post it. Also, I try to change the disk write speed, but because its stupid and unregistered, it only allows for 2x writing speed. Nothing more, nothing less. I followed all other directions the best i could, and believe they were done correctly, so that's probably not part of the problem. Any tips/fixes/suggestions? You may want to check the disk when you put it in some disks ask what kind of disk you want it to be re-writable,music,data... that afects the burning data. Also check the disks even tho it may show an eror like not complete or cant finish most of the time the data is copied already and it works. I recommend to you what I recommended to SS, use a low speed CD. Not the writing speed adjustable in the program, but the speed that is listed either on the cd case, the package, or sometimes written on the cd itself. For me, I used cd's which were apparantly too fast for my computer (48x)and no matter what I tried they wouldn't work. I went back to slower cds (24x) and it worked again.
