Just thought I'd start a thread for basic facts for a beginner's guide.

The stats are listed as:
Life
Power
Intelligence
Skill
Speed
Defense

Monsters can be regenerated by drawing, voice or GameBoy Advance game carts.

Monsters live for 2-3 years at first, but when your The Tree grows, they can live for over four years.

Monsters die in this game.

Stats can't go any higher than 2000.

Monsters can be frozen and saved for later use.

Monsters can be combined to make better baby monsters.

And one new question and answer:

Q: I tried doodle regeneration and got a monster, but it's completely blue. Is something wrong with my game (NOTE: LATTER PART OF QUESTION CAN BE MODIFIED AS NECESSARY)?

A: No, your game is fine. Sometimes when you try regenerating by drawing, you'll get these monsters. They're called pseudo-monsters. There's one for every species, and they're a bit weaker statistically than the pure breed.
