The latest blog entry, which can be found here, goes into the MFO ranches and their customization in a great amount of detail. Apparently, you can not only add furniture and small structures, but all manner of plants as well, including trees!

looking it over, it appears to demonstrate how to build up your house for your farm. It's a bit narrative, but doesn't go into a lot of actual nuts and bolts detail.

Ah, that armored reptilian monster is a blue Shignil, Zuum's replacement breed in this game. Its normal color is green.
