Some new breeds you can see on

https://www.mf-online.jp/

Kikimo - The squirell/bunny thing with sticks on his back? Weird.

Korunee - The big guy with antlers and huge arms

Antero - the green deer monster.

That's what I got from the katakana names they posted.

Antero is probably meant to be "Antelo", short for Antelope.

Also, Salamander is the name of those little bunny things (which are actually little fuzzy imps hiding in bunny costumes), and Shiguniru, I believe maybe that breed of monster that looks like a cross between a Zuum and a Dragon with a long horn.

I was browsing that website just in general and thought I saw a Gali mask--- I was a little disappointed. ^^

But they're bringing Worm back! Which makes up for it completely.

Oh, and hey.

Does anyone know how or if subraces are going to work in this game? Like for example, are they going to be like monster rancher 1 where there just another monster race, or are they going to be per region like in monster rancher 3? Also, are they even going to have subraces, or are they dropping them altogether?

By GM on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 - 12:08 pm:

No idea just yet, but it appears that monsters' physical characteristics may change depending on how and where you raise it, possibly changing their statistical gains accordingly, as opposed to there being subtypes.

In any case, according to the most recent blog entry, Durahan has been confirmed to be in MFO.
