Just thought I'd note that there are a lot of things you can find while exploring. I have gotten nunchucks, several bottles of potions, a plaid flannel teddy bear, wire-frame glasses with a clown nose attached, a pack of Monster Farm Battle Card CCG cards, a coin, and more. I can see the inventory of them while in the dungeon, I just haven't been able to figure out how to use them!

That's a lot of items. What is the maximum number of item you can have in the inventory? Is it a fix number just like MR3 or does it get large as you upgrade the ranch?

What are the cards for? I don't really mind if you don't know
that yet, but are the like the ones in the monster rancher
card games? And sorry if I ignored the fact that you don't
know how to use them, I just don't know what cards would
be used for and I think it's interesting for cards to be in a
non-spinoff Monster Rancher game. By the way, that's a
cool set of items. I can't wait till the game comes out in
America and we get to find and use those items

Have you tried combining with them? Or can you even use items in combining? O_o

By Lisa Shock on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 - 04:49 pm:

I have not been offered the option to use an item in combining yet.

I have also purchased a Wool Ball and a Character Toy (sort of like the dummy Wrackys ask for in MR2) at the item shop, and I have no idea what they are used for, or when. They do not appear in the menu when I feed my monsters.

Oh yeah, the cards appear as a single pack, with the logo on the back (you cannot rotate the pack) just like we see in the MRBC games. You cannot pull individual cards out. I think it's just a reference back to the card games.

the items you get in adventure can be used during free time. you can give them to your monsters. some monsters like toys, books or cards. But i haven't figured out most of the effects when you give these items to your monsters. I only know of one item that's useful it's "Oil oil(?)" which lowers stress :)

Ok, I figured it out now. The liquids I have are Rose Perfume and Nageel.
