MF4 was released on 8/14, and for the week of 8/11-8/17 (so it wasn't even out the full week), it was #2 on the charts! It sold an impressive 96,946 copies. You can see this (this week) at The Magic Box but beware that there are lots of popups, and you do NOT want to accept anything from Gator or Fun Web Products, or any other company that throws an acceptance certificate at you.

For comparison, MF3 sold 182,942 copies in total in the year 2001. Looks like MF4 is well on its way to exceeding that figure! (Monster Rancher 3 sold 72,152 copies total in the US from 2001-2003.)

Yeah I saw that chart. So many people I know were shocked to see both "a monster game" and "a soccer game" ranked higher than a Final Fantasy game. But I already pre-ordered MR4 and Winning Eleven looks awsome. I cant wait unti MR4 comes out though. Probably around my birth day so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME : )

It's good news for the European ranchers, too.
If this game turns into a huge success (and i sincerely think it will) there will be at least a chance of it beeing released in Europe.

I also hope for an release in Europe. It is so frustrating of all to intend to you to speak about the arrival of this game on the new continent whereas we are always in the uncertainty of an arrival here. But since MR3 had not left on the old continent I think that this time it will come to us .
