For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get past D class. I can't even enter the D class tournament. I can enter any tournament but the official one. What do you have to do before you can enter the official tournament?

you have to finish a storyline first to be able to raise your breeder rank. Go to town and talk to people or go to an adventure and try to finish it.

Ok, thanks. When you say adventure, you mean exploring the cave? How do you finish it? just make it to the top? I'm sorry if I sound dumb but I'm trying all kinds of things and I can't figure it out.

yes reach the top or exit. try going into towns and talking to the people there. they would give you clues as to what you should do next

Ok here's what I've done. I've fought in every D class tournament possible, I've been to the top of the cave, and fought/lost to the god monster up there, and I went to town and talked to everyone I could. And they have nothing new to say to me.

For some stupid reason, I still can't enter the official D tournament. AAAAARGH!

you have to win against the boss monster not lose :) its advisable to bring 3 monsters in adventures :)

This boss is tough, I lost and had to reset three times before I beat him, the others are much easier though. My Garu won me up through my A rank before being retired, so I don't know what happens after that.
