I don't think there's a set date, it may be related to your breeder rank. I got Vitamin D, the last item shop item in 1041.

my rank is master, and i am in year 1014

It definitely takes a while, 1014 seems kind of early. Also, keep visiting the shop. You won't know it has been introduced until you visit.

ok, thanx, i am trying to get all of the locked breeds unlocked and into my freezer. and buying the cat doll is easier than finding it. so far, i have dragon, sketch, ghost, and ape

if you visit the item shop regularly(every 2 months or so), the cat doll should appear in the item shop around 1026 or somewhere in that time vicinity.

I thought that the Cat doll is anounced by a special sall when it first appears, instead of waiting for you to visit the shop. Its been a long time, but I feel I remember that clearly enough...

The date it tells you it's in the shop (the special sale) is actually a week or two after it actually appeared in there.

No the cat doll comes before the Vitamin D, Cat doll is in the 1020's sometime... and Vit D is in 1040. Just check the shop ever other month in those time periods and it should pop up eventually... also as replying to an ealier post Slpashotz... 1014 isn't an early time to become master trainer... my friend made it around that year and i made it around 1016. Just gotta know how to handle your money.

Sorry this is off the topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread. How do you achieve "master trainer?" My trainer status says "monster" I've won all four "S" cups with the same monster, and nothing happened. It just said I'm up to R7. Also, I read somewhere that there is a little movie after you "win" the game, which is the same as the beginning of MR2 intro.

Doesn't sting dust come into the shop at one point or another? I lost my memory card so I had to start over and I don't remember if it came into the shop but I think I always went to the shop to buy it... or was that I always went to the shop to sell it?

As far as I recall, it was an expedition only item, making it a bit more valuable because it's fairly hard to get.
