I remember a rumor...

A rumor SO GRAND no-one ever tested it...

If you collect all the disc chips (1 of each) and have them in your inventory (upgrade house ALOT), old what's-his-name would come and assemble the disc chips into a disc. Use the disc, they say, to get a disc.

I said "bugger that, I want my Bloody Dragon."

You know, that's actually pretty believeable...has anyone actually tested it? I mean, it would be kind of difficult, but it's not some insanely super-long-tedious-mega-difficult task...hell, if I hadn't gotten the advice directly from Tecmo, I wouldn't have believed that the Ghost was possible to get (in MR1, at least). Think about the procedure for it, it sounds like something someone would make up (a 1-in-16 chance if you kill your monster, PLEASE).

That disk chip thing does sound possible. Someone should really test that

the usual condition of the board is a surplus of people willing to suggest things to be tested, combined with a shortage of people to test things.

Yeah, this one is pretty simple for anyone with a gameshark, however, I have enough experiments to keep me busy for about 3 more months...

Having nothing better to do this afternoon, I checked this out. I gathered all the disc chips and waited a year and a half. Nothing. So this has gone the way of all the great myths. Down in flames.
