This works best if you have a training style that is soft. If you take him back and forth from town to the ranch, it'll increase his loyalty buy a point or two. The reason why you should only do it if your training style is on the soft side, is that the more you do it, the more strict your training style becomes.

Just a reminder (and I know this is elsewhere on the board but thought it was appropriate) doing this trick increases stress. So keep the number of times to a minimum. I was doing a test where I froze my monster every week, saved, and then went back to the ranch. After 7 trips I got a stress warning, and once you've gotten the warning, your monster has taken a serious hit on their lifespan!
We still don't have exact values for this game, but the MR2 values are probably a good approximation. I have done very well with the game by using the MR2 values as a guide.
