Monster Rancher Metropolis: Monster Rancher 1 Archive (PSOne): Miscellaneous Q&A (Post New Questions Here): Gameshark question By Anonymous on Friday, July 25, 2003 - 02:42 pm: i wondered if i used a code would all my mr1 saves be effected By Nate Railsback on Friday, July 25, 2003 - 03:25 pm: As long as you do not save the game with the codes in play (or with their effects already in play, even if the code is turned off), then you won't have it recorded on any file. If you do save, then that file will have the sharked info but the others won't. By Nate Railsback on Friday, July 25, 2003 - 03:28 pm: BTW, just a warning: Lisa and the other mods tend to have some antipathy towards these kind of questions. Be careful about asking them, especially with general names like "Gameshark question," or they might boot you or delete your post. Note that I'm still answering pretty much every "look it up on the board" question that I get sent to my personal email, so if you're worried that a question would bring the mods down on you, just send it to me. I have more patience than I probably should. By John Hawley on Friday, July 25, 2003 - 08:20 pm: Actually, we are not antipathetic to Gameshark codes questions. If we were, we wouldn't have a section in the MR1 archive devoted to them. We simply don't tolerate 'Sharked' monsters in the Tournaments. By Nate Railsback on Saturday, July 26, 2003 - 12:22 am: I didn't mean about sharking, I meant overly-general question titles. By Leon on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 - 05:30 pm:
Just a small note about Gamesharks though...maybe By Tararara on Sunday, November 16, 2003 - 11:23 am: MR1 doesn't work well with GS codes. The only one I ever felt safe using and saving with was the money code. By John Hawley on Sunday, November 16, 2003 - 12:59 pm: Welcome back, Tararara!! whispers "You do realise that you are replying to a month old post that replied to 4 month old (at the time) posts?" By Tararara on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 - 07:48 pm: I'm probably not the only person who looks up ancient posts for useful info :-P But actually, I didn't see the dates (though now I know that I'm replying to an ancient topic!) Sorry about posting in an ancient, 2 and a half year old topic, but I just wanted to say: |
