There isn't a lot of rhyme or reason on whether you will get POW or INT based, or what kind of move you will learn.

At least, not without sitting down and mapping out which breed wild monsters give what moves. There are more important things to do now, but anyone who's working on making friends, feel free to plug away at that research.
