I have been getting emails from people trying to get accounts and they are telling me that members are telling them to just email me a password and board name or, well here is a sample letter:

"they told me at gamefaqs that all i had to do was email you my username and password to be able to post at monsterranchermetropolis so here they are."

We ask people to read the Office Of The Mayor for very specific legal reasons. That's why the section says "Read This First" as part of it's title. I also titled the welcome message "Welcome! READ BEFORE APPLYING FOR AN ACCOUNT OR POSTING!" because I need people to actually read this information and agree to it before they apply for an account or post anything here.

Anyone encouraging people to bypass the Office Of The Mayor, by giving them instructions on how to apply for an account without reading the contents first is doing a great disservice to the site, and jeopardizing our very existence on the web. (Not to mention opening me up to lawsuits which could cause me to lose my home and job, in addition to spening time in jail!) So, if I figure out who is doing this, they will be banned from the site. No second chances, no probation, simply banned.

I am adding information on this to the site guidelines.
