Monster Rancher Metropolis: The Cafe: Suggestions for Tecmo: Design a monster. By Harle on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 - 06:59 pm:
Wouldn't that be a nice feature? I read someone's post about having a Zuum/Dragonwings/Gali mask. And I just though, "Why not design a monster all together?" Granted it would take a lot of memory, and alot of money, but I'd be willing to pay the extra money to watch a tie-dyed dragon with butterfly wings, duke it out with a striped banana mocchi. By DigMoshMogi on Thursday, February 28, 2002 - 09:25 am: I can post them on my site if you can get them to me before march 10th that is. That is the main purpose of my site. By Tigerbubble on Thursday, February 28, 2002 - 11:07 am: I love your idea, but i'm worried that it might take the fun out of finding monsters on saucer stones if you could simply make your own. Maybe they could make it so that you could unlock certain features from saucer stones, like the butterfly wings or different kinds of butterfly wings, etc... Yeah, that would be interesting. Have every CD give you a monster with 3 'pieces' and a paint job on it. Then, after you've completely sorted through your CD library, you can take groups of monsters sorted by main type and switch the 'pieces' and paint jobs between them. Have a system that only allows you one piece per area (Nobody can have 3 sets of wings or 4 tails coming out of their behinds etc). That would make an interesting creation system. Maybe for a large sum you can purchase a new pieces for your monsters. By Lightning Tiger on Monday, March 25, 2002 - 04:41 pm:
Well, I don't know how you can make an addition to a game, but they could have different sets of the games. The ones that don't have as many features cost less, but the ones that have more cost more. Also if you buy a cheaper one and then save, then if you brought a more expensive game, you could transfer the data from lesser games so you wouldn't have to start all over. By Fir Dragon on Friday, June 20, 2003 - 11:23 am: i think you should unlock monsters like normal and go to the lab and mix those monsters together the way you want them. For instance, you combile a dragon with a suezo, take the dragons head and give it one eyeball add a mew amd give it cat claws and so on. You get the point. By Kalus on Thursday, July 17, 2003 - 12:55 pm: I think they should just do it like they did in MR2. The evolution system didnt give enough types of the creatures (2 different jokers just does not work). By Anonymous on Thursday, August 14, 2003 - 12:36 pm: It would be great if you could pick the features transfered after combining the monsters... E.G: Phoenix's wings, galis cape and jokers weapon on a centaur! By X_588 on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 - 01:13 pm: I would like To see a zilla on dodle's chicken. Bah, I'm coming to this thread really late, but I think some of the posters above might like to try Magic Pengel. ;) By Moonmonster on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 - 01:53 pm:

Design a monster = No By Sonikku on Saturday, January 22, 2005 - 10:46 am: The game Amazing Island lets you make monsters. Maybe some of you guys ought to give that a try. By Eric B on Monday, January 24, 2005 - 06:47 pm:
Too bad the Amazing Island isnt amazing, and is more like SubPar Island. By Pandimonia on Friday, September 23, 2005 - 03:07 pm: at least someone picked-up on 'make-a' theme. in the new Soul Calbur game (3) you can completley customize your character; look, costume, color, weapon, class, everything. looks awesome, check it out. its either out now or very very soon By Lin Wu on Friday, September 23, 2005 - 05:41 pm: This new game called Graffiti Kingdom is just like the "create a monster" idea on the board. I'd give it a shot... By John Hawley on Saturday, September 24, 2005 - 04:07 pm: Graffiti Kingdom is the sequel to Magic Pengel mentioned earlier. By Lin Wu on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 06:43 am: Oh, sorry. Didn't know that. I'll have to check it out sometime and compare it with Monster Rancher. It might take a couple weeks though, as Graffiti Kingdom gets checked out at Blockbuster a lot. By Shadowscythe1234 on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - 12:51 pm: having the "a custom lab thingy" as an unlockable after you beat the game or if you find something in an adventure would be kind of cool then it would be optional you can play the gam normally shrining and combing but being able to do a custom monster a custom breeder would also be cool By montezuma's revenge on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 12:38 pm: How about you choose it's skills, nature, traits, starting stats, excetera for a certain amount of game money! Also what if you could create your own ??? types? That sounds fun to me. By Telza on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 10:02 pm:
Speaking of designing a monster there is a game out for GC called Amazing Island in which you draw your monster. You also give it accessories and such to customize. If you want to design your own monster get that game. |
