Okay, thanks. I've gone boughten 3 copies of MR 2,
none of them have worked all the way, and I found a
$10 copy of MR 1 at a local game exchange and it
wouldn't even load. Pretty frustrating at times. But
thanks and just post here if you happen to have an
extra MR 2!

If you ever get stuck on loading screens you can
just open/close the tray and it should resume from
there. Unless the game just keeps freezing even not
on loading screens then there is nothing that can be
done :(

The copes would freeze in specific drills, and when
i started expeditions. I got my money back on them.

Rats, sorry, no extra copy of MR2 either. I will keep an eye out for a copy, I have a couple of ok indie used game stores nearby and I haven't visited them in a while.

I recently got a working used copy of MR1 on amazon. It's the only working copy I currently have so I can't part with it, but there are a few other copies of the game listed, might be worth a try Zercker. MR2 has listings as well from the look of things.
The condition was passable, the disk was in good condition, with very slight abrasions on the front, but no visible marks on the back. The case was cracked and dirty, but held up through shipping, and the booklet was included but pages were bent and some slight wear on the edges. So, don't expect it to be in mint condition if you do order one online though.
Also, Have you tried all your copies on multiple Playstations, Zercker? I know my old PS2 before it died started to freeze when playing MR2, but the new one I got reads it perfectly fine.

Anyway, back at the point - I would love to see a popular LPer (or LP duo, as the case may be) tackle one of the older Monster Rancher games, maybe now when I go on about my new champion people's eyes will stop glazing over!

Yes, I tried it on PS1/2/3, ran a bit better on PS3,
but still froze on a few things. And the issue with
Game Grumps is that they complain quite a bit, and I
can't really seeing them playing it very long
