Why don't they just make a new Monster Rancher for the PS3
and keep adding new downloadable content? Or put the first
two games in the PS1 Classics to download. What would be
even better is put Monster Rancher Online onto the PS3

Monster Rancher 1 and 2 would be great additions to the PSOne classics. As far as Monster Rancher Online, they would need to reword the whole game to work on a console, do a full localization, and set up servers for the west. I just don't see that happening. And yes, a new MR game on ps3 would be nice as well.

You can still play MR 1 and 2on the PS3. Heck for the first month I had the thing that was all I did!

I would love a new MR2 style game on the PS3 though. I would buy two copies of that!

I know I can play the ps1 games on ps3 but my little brother
cracked my MR1 and both copies of MR2 I bought off of
eBay didn't work very well. So I would rather buy a
guarenteed to work version off the PS store. It would be
better than some of the stupid games they have on their now

Well the game on the DS has to sell well enough in the states.. and maybe even in Japan.. for that to happen, seeing as Japan hasn't even gotten a PS3 game as far as I know.

If this game had come with of course better graphics and the more regular creation method, but on the PS3 that woulda been great.

Yes Rahu, you can still play them on the PS3 (which I do lol). But hopefully MRDS has brought the game to a new group of players whom if they see MR1 and MR2 on PSOne classics might very well pay to download them.
