The game is out, but various locations may get it sooner than others. Looks like Phoenix, where I live, won't have it til tomorrow. But, some of you may be able to get it today.

By John Hawley on Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 04:21 pm:

My local is estimating maybe late tomorrow...

By Dragon Trainer on Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 04:46 pm:

not untill tomorrow in Connecticut....

By VenomousX on Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 04:52 pm:

Tomorrow or later in Massachusetts =(

By Penguin God on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 07:01 am:

Missouri has it!

So far it's really darn fun, but I will admit that I think the music is just a bit off and the noises Abyss make is starting to get on my nerves.

But the gameplay itself, which is what really matters, is a ton of fun! And yelling obscene words into the game to get monsters is a blast and a half!

They put a good ammount of work into this game, and it really is good!

By Shen the Keeper on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 08:06 am:

Ya, the music isn't worth writing about but the gameplay so far is pretty neat.

I'm still getting used to the quit/save thing, and the fact that resetting is frowned upon, so I'm probably entering tournaments later then I could get away with, but doing pretty well with my Mew/Abyss.

Its also keeping my attention which usually portible games don't unless I'm stuck somewhere away from a console or computer. I prefer the bigger view normally but this is cool.

By Penguin God on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 08:52 am:

I really like the fact that Resetting damages your monsters, or future monsters, potential. It will really make all the work put forth into a monster worth it!

By Dragon Trainer on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 11:36 am:

Woot...!!! just picked up my 2 copies...!!!

they had 2 other copies at the Bloomfield, CT
store if anyone lives in Connecticut and wants a copy...

I have to wait untill I get home to try it though...(I promised my son I would wait..!!)

By fiffa46 on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 01:07 pm:

Resetting damages your monsters? I wouldn't have thought that but I also am not one to do that any way.

By VenomousX on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 01:23 pm:

Finally got it today in Massachusetts~ Off to raise my Tiger/Abyss (Quite a cool looking monster)

By fiffa46 on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 03:20 pm:

I finally picked mine up. My first monster is a Mew/Abyss. My son got a Pancho/Pancho.

But I have to say my Mew/Abyss (which kinda looks like a vampire mew) is just SOOOOOO CUTE!!!

By Lisa Shock on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 04:49 pm:

Just got mine!

By JamesDH99 on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 07:06 pm:

I got mine and it's great. I got a Piroro and then I combined it to
make a Urara.

By Serph on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 07:54 pm:

I just got my copy also!

Started off with a Pixie x Tiger and things are off to a
great start. I can't wait till we all can have some battles
online.

By John Hawley on Friday, August 6, 2010 - 09:34 pm:

*sigh* Still no word at all on mine.

By Lisa Shock on Saturday, August 7, 2010 - 09:59 am:

John, mine came as part of a regular store shipment that employees hadn't even unpacked at 4pm yesterday. Try calling your store and ask them to check their regular shipments of assorted items. This definitely wasn't sent out as a new release type shipment.

By John Hawley on Saturday, August 7, 2010 - 02:27 pm:

Finally got it this morning after calling them.

By Lisa Shock on Saturday, August 7, 2010 - 03:27 pm:

Yay!

By 321228322 on Saturday, August 7, 2010 - 04:45 pm:

Canada won't have it for another month.
I am miffed.

By fiffa46 on Saturday, August 7, 2010 - 10:58 pm:

Most new releases only come in regular shipment boxes. The system will tell them it's a new release and how many are pre-ordered and such. But in the store I worked in we NEVER had boxes sit around past noon let alone 4pm. That's crazy.

By Lisa Shock on Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 07:48 am:

Well, I foolishly placed my pre-order at a new location that isn't as close to my house. It's near a health food store I like to visit a couple times a month.

The place was kind of odd in that everyone working there was over age 40, spoke with accents and was male. They didn't seem to understand much about the industry either.

I wanted to do this test because the two locations near my house know who I am and I get preferential treatment.

By Infernus on Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 10:38 am:

I am in Canada. I got mine yesterday.

No pre-order, no nothing. I just walked in and got it off the shelf. I guess that means you should check a few more places, eh 32122...Numbers. I am just going to call you Numbers.

By Lisa Shock on Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 01:34 pm:

Cool, thanks, Infernus!

By Swezlon Uno on Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 07:08 pm:

...still nothing here...and I'm in the U.S. (Georgia btw...)

By 321228322 on Monday, August 9, 2010 - 01:15 am:

I guess Im just unlucky.
Though getting hit by a mail van and getting off without a scratch is somewhat lucky....

By Swezlon Uno on Monday, August 9, 2010 - 04:55 pm:

Whoo, finally got it today!

By Rahu on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 - 06:46 am:

gratz!

By TracedInAir on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - 06:48 pm:

I got the game! I'm enjoying it very much. It's like a reimagined Monster Rancher 2, just with less breeds, and missing some breeds I always liked (Bajarl, Undine, etc.) But overall I really can't complain.. I really like the "Drills" (which are basically errantries in board game format - not sure why they gave them such an ambiguous name but whatever)
