Monster Rancher Metropolis: The Cafe: Archived Topics From Prior Years: Year 2010 Topics (Year of the Shock Rock): Emulator Question By The Jokie on Saturday, January 9, 2010 - 10:57 pm: Hey everyone, long time no talk! Anyway I have a good question. Just recently I started getting into the old MR games. I wanted to play MR2, but I sold my copy of it years ago (stupid), and can't find another copy anywhere. As such I decided to emulate it, but the problem is if I'm running off an ISO I can't use disks from the CD tray. So In reality I can't make anything but Mocchi. I'm using epsxe 1.70 right now, so should I try another program? By Lisa Shock on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 10:25 am:
I thought I had read that only one of the many emus worked for shrining on pc. But, I cannot find reference to it. By Sivart on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 03:20 pm:
What you can do, using ePSXe, is go to the Shrine, wait for the disc change prompt, and then hit escape, go to File, Run CDROM. After it asks to switch back to the MR disc, go to File, Run ISO. Works for me when I decide I want to play MR2 with no FPS :).
