Of ventures, that is. I found this out earlier this morning when I was doing the venture-only method. Hold the R2 button down during the venture, and you get a different camera angle of the venture. A bit of warning however; this angle gives a complete view of the entire region that you're in, but it can be kinda difficult to see your monster if it's something small like a Pixie or a Momo.
