I can't seem to get up the cliff on the left side of the canyon. I can get to the right side by walking up the slope, but how do I get up to the other one to get to the lord?

if you start to walk off the cliff between the right side and the left side, you should get a message asking if you want to jump across. even if you dont have anything for the lord, you should take the invitation, because one of the noisy halls is found under a tree on the way to the lord. if you stay near the edge between noisy hall tree and the lord tree, you will also get a message asking if you want to jump down. you will land in the valley below, very near the third noisy hall.
