Monster Rancher Metropolis: Monster Rancher 3 Archive (PS2): Raising Methods: Thoeries for maxing monsters with hearts By superbk on Saturday, October 13, 2001 - 07:04 pm:
as you can see we have our work cut out for us to make a maxed monster this is starting with a 750 composite start monster. as you can see with this monster you would need to gain over 3000 to max. By Barronbrad on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 03:00 pm: By Barronbrad on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 03:02 pm: there are 5 stats, 5x999=4995. By infinite joker on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 11:39 am: I don't understand this.......what does it mean? By mepersoner on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 02:34 pm: Ok the stat gain is in a lifetime. (you gain a 1000 points in a lifetime) The gens are the the monster after being trained and having the heart crystals used on them, the total stats added together. 4995 would be a maxed monster. By superbk on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 02:39 pm: this says that the theories of maxing monsters with hearts just isnt possible without huge stat gains in a lifetime. ok - let me break it down a different way. assume that a basic encyclopedia monster starts with a composite 795. that's not bad - thats an average of almost 160 per category. now assume, as psych0midget showed in his maxing thread [posted elsewhere] that a good jumping off point is a heart of a monster with 3 maxed stats. at 20% passed on, that's an additional 600 points to be gained at some time during the recipient monster's life. finally, assume a 5 year lifespan - we know that can be done.
4 wks/mo x 12 mo/yr x 5 yrs = 240 wks 3600 divided by 240 = 15 that is the magic number. to totally max a monster [using these assumptions] you must gain an average of 15 pts/wk in one of the 5 categories. let's go to work! we can find a way to attain this average, change the assumptions so that they are more favorable to us, or a little of both. By danz on Sunday, October 14, 2001 - 09:39 pm: Minus weeks of rest = either 1 in 3 or 1 in 2, plus stat gains of HIGHER then 15 and stat gains LOWER then 15 (you cant use hard drills either cuz they lower stats, or mebbe you can cuz they raise 2...) and battles... THATS HARD!!! :p By Nico on Wednesday, October 17, 2001 - 08:59 pm:
Hard drills and then drills that give large gains... like Sand Swim in the desert region to make up. Better hope you get lots of 20's :)
