I went into the volcano with a monster that only had 400 HP, only to get to the golden peach area and have to turn back because I was low on energy.

Now I can't trigger the phoenix events at all. I didn't use up the golden peach so that I could return, but I want all the way to the inner southwest spiral and still couldn't find an orange crystal.

Do I have to wait ten years for another golden peach to grow, then try again? Or am I permanently screwed?
