I thought that these myriad of missing tournaments are just the Battle Royale ones, but when I looked again, there seemed to be around 10 (? didn't really count) more that I am missing.

Aside from the default tournaments, the Heavenly Kings tourneys, Rising Dragon, Icicle Festival, and Battle Royal, what else am I missing and how do I get them?

I imagine you don't have the Greatest 4 on your list either.

But truthfully, there is no good way for us to know what you are missing. I have a full tourney list, but it's in Japanese...

Well that's a bummer, but it seems that the tourneys are listed monthly, so I can least isolate which months are lacking. Would that help?

Quite a few of those battles only appear after unlocking certain monsters, so might be a good idea to work on them first.

Holly's big 4 can only be unlocked by using the specific breed for each of the 4 tournaments. Each one requires a specific monster.

So I battled on B-1 right now... encountered monsters that were named Kamine, Ciara, Zeelandia, Luvles, and Holly's Tiger named Tiger.

While fighting I couldn't get that feeling out that this is all just too familiar. So I searched out some answers in the archives here...

...and I was like 'oh my' when I noticed it! Kamine = Carmine, Ciara = Siarra, Zeelandia = Zelandia, Luvles = Loveless, which are all Major 4 monsters from Monster Rancher 2! Holly's Tiger that is named Tiger, is a parody of the default name that you can give the monsters you regenerate in Monster Rancher 1.

I... what?!

Yeah. We knew that too.

The Legend Cup actually has a fair amount of the best monsters from old MR games.
